Pros and cons of Thicket:Classic app for iPhone and iPad
Thicket:Classic app good for
This app has been evolving over its releases. It has been fun seeing how the authors have been making it more interactive in creative ways and more musical. Good on yer, boys!
Really makes you want to do things with the sound work is great!
This is amazing. Sounds and visual are great. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to updates.
If you could some how at midi or osc output to this it would be unbeatable for live performance.
I love the use of the iPhones sensors to manipulate the possibilities.
All my friends think this is the coolest app. Sounds great! Hypnotic and fun to play.
Find myself reaching for this app daily just when I feel the need to "get musical" when no one is around. Really hope the developers expand on the themes given because you really can only go so far. With that aside a 5 star no brainer!
Some bad moments
This app has no point, and the music only annoys. Even on a big screen at a function or party the only thing the app ( thicket ) would do is to cause every one to leave. I downloaded it because the idea was appealing and it looked cool, I was disappointed.
Please dont buy this. Its not worth $1.99 at all. Touching it barely seems to change the sounds and certainly not in any way you can purposefully control. Get the Nicholas Collins apps instead. Get Monolith Loop instead. The Brian Eno apps are even better than this and those really arent that great so thats saying a lot.
Ridiculously this app is requiring ios5 to install an update. Since apple has no easy ignore button I will uninstall as the annoying app store will not get past this.
I LOVE uzu, the particle stimulation app. This buckles in comparison. The effects are too simple, noise isnt actually controllable... just seems stupid.
This may be one of the most annoying useless apps ever. The audio sounds like a skipping CD and the visuals are weak at best. Thank goodness it was free today. I would have been upset to have spent money on this.
You get one mode and then have to buy the other modes. Dont waste your money - stick with the Classic Thicket.
